OUR NAME
Just Kings governed their subjects who lived in cities and towns with justice and impartiality. They administered justice by the rule of law and order and provided protection and security for their people. Their crown represented their authority and sacred oath to their kingdom and to the people they governed. In part, we borrow their title. We call ourselves City Kings to affirm our commitment to apply the rule of law justly, fairly and without prejudice in the cities and town we patrol in. The name reminds us to honor the sacred oath we have taken to serve and protect the public.

OUR HISTORY
After completing a prospecting period in 2012 with the Iron Guns MC, the Oakland Chapter officially became a charter chapter on January 18, 2013. It was the first Iron Guns MC Chapter in California. Two out of the five original members still remain; Ace and the General. In 2015, three Oakland Chapter members, Joker, Xman, and Cisco were approved to start the Frisco Chapter of the Iron Guns MC. After completing a prospecting period, the Frisco Chapter became a full charter on July 15, 2015. In 2016 we received noticed that the National Iron Guns MC organization was dismantling. The news was disappointing and left our of the chapters without a home. The news came at a time when the Oakland and Frisco Chapters were planning their first annual Leadslingers shooting competition. As a result of the news, the shooting competition was put on hold. During this time, a rally cry emerged from our members to continue with the competition and more importantly to keep our brotherhood alive. A new name was chosen to represent our brotherhood, City Kings MC. This experience taught us that our patch and name did not make us a great MC. Our brotherhood did. Regardless of what patch or name we would have chosen, we can truly say that our MC is defined by our brotherhood. |
